Requirement Gathering with Ruth
Team 3A and 3B had a fantastic meeting with our esteemed client, Ruth, at the Hunterian Museum. It was a delightful experience to explore the museum together and gain invaluable insights about the artifacts and the project. We took the opportunity to clarify any questions and concerns, ensuring a clear understanding of the project's scope. We are thrilled and eager to embark on the next phase of the project!
Reflection: We learnt a great deal during this session and am thankful for Ruth for her hospitality and for answering all of our questions to lead us in the correct direction.

19th July 2023Brainstorming with Team 3B
Team 3A had a productive meeting with Team 3B to kickstart our ideation process. We gathered and brainstormed feasible ideas, ensuring there was no overlap between our teams. We explored diverse solutions that meet all the criteria. By the end of the day, Team 3A reached a consensus on three promising ideas!
Reflection: This was an important milestone in our journey as it lays the foundation for what is about to come. An important thing to highlight is mental model, it is important that we aligned our mental model so we are all on the same page, heading in the same direction.

Bug Collectibles
The game involves placing QR codes at bug exhibits throughout the museum. Kids can scan the codes to capture digital versions of bugs on their smartphones or provided devices. Each visit allows three random bug captures, encouraging repeat visits to collect different bugs. The digital bugs ask questions that require exploring the museum for answers, promoting learning. Correct answers may earn special bug cards, and kids can trade bugs with other visitors to complete their collection.

Qr Code Quiz Trivia
The QR Code quiz/game is a museum scavenger hunt where visitors scan a QR code at the entrance, leading them on an adventure to find a mystery object. By solving quizzes and games related to exhibits, they receive hints to locate QR codes hidden throughout the museum. When the initial QR code matches the object's QR code, they win the game.

Multiplayer Co-Op
The game is a multiplayer co-op where two players work together. One player gathers information from Part A location, and the other player gathers information from Part B location. To win, they must collaborate and share their findings to uncover the full information. Teamwork is essential for success.

20th July 2023Sharing Session with Ruth
We conducted an update meeting with Ruth to present our ideas and receive valuable feedback. During the meeting, we received helpful tips to enhance our proposals. Ruth shared her opinions and preferences regarding our ideas, providing us with valuable insights for further refinement.
Reflection: During the meeting we gathered alot of valid feedback from Ruth that was immensely useful for time to come. It shows that our idea was not perfect and there was room for improvement. We are glad to absorb these feedback and will definitely incorporate them into our product.

24th July 2023Product Refinement
The team convened to have a comprehensive discussion about the project, and after careful consideration, it was decided to merge Idea 1 and Idea 2 into a cohesive concept. Excitement grew as the team moved forward with creating a High-Fidelity prototype to bring this combined vision to life!
Reflection: Another important milestone of our journey. The solution of combining idea 1 (Bug collectible) and Idea 2 (QR code quiz trivia) is combination to achieve the best of both worlds. The team was very happy that we can create an interactive solution by using the Bug Collectible idea while still maintaining a educational approach using the QR code quiz trivia idea.

24th July 2023Testing prototype at the Museum
The team went to The Hunterian Museum to test out our prototype to ensure its usability and smooth flow of user experience.
Reflection: Testing our prototype was a great way to identify gaps in usability and flow. The team gathered many feedback during our testing session that will be rectified in our product.
25th July 2023Meeting with Ruth
The team met up with Ruth to discuss our finalize idea to identify gaps and areas of improvements.
Reflection: During this session, more indepth feebacks and suggestions were provided for us to improve our solution. The team had noted them down for further discussion.
27th July 2023Development Phase
Over the cause of a few days, the team diligently worked on the product to realize our idea. This was done with tools like Firebase, Flask and HTML. Many errors and bugs acted as hurdles to the team but we persist to emerge victorious!
Realising our ideas was not a straight forward process due to techical difficulties. However, we are glad that we stuck to our idea and persisted in order to present the best product to our client.
28th July 2023 -Usability Testing
A usability testing was performed with Ruth as our tester in The Hunterian Museum. As part of the usability test, a full walk through was done to identify any gaps in the user experience. Afterwhich, (minor) feedback were provided by the tester for us to improve our product.
Reflection: Even in the final phase of the journey, the team still feel feedbacks are still important. This iterative improvement process will be the key to getting our product to be as perfect as possible.
1st August 2023Exhibition
After an challenging yet fulfilling journey, today marks the end of the journey with an exhibition. It stands as a testament to our dedication and creativity, and we feel a mix of accomplishment, relief. The memories we've created and the lessons we've learned will continue to inspire us on new adventures, knowing that this closing is just the beginning of what lies ahead.
