We are delighted to share that major repairs and improvements have been successfully completed in the large ground floor hall at the Annexe! This historical building, originally constructed in the 1930s as an extension of the former St Peters junior secondary school, has undergone a transformative restoration process. During the renovation, we made sure to restore the original windows, which were previously covered in the 1960s to create a two-story fire exit. By bringing back these authentic features, we have not only preserved the Annexe's architectural charm but also honored its rich history within the community. A significant thank you goes out to the Partick East Area Partnership for their unwavering support in making this project a reality. Their generous grant of £8k played a crucial role in funding the repairs, making a positive impact on the Annexe and its future as a cherished community space.
